To keep himself motivated and strong psychologically, Sturridge has been busy interacting with fans on social media where on Friday afternoon he took part in a Q&A session.
In among a number of interesting questions, the former Chelsea striker was asked to name the toughest players he has come up against so far in his short career.
“I’d probably say from an attacking point, Hazard is good. For Arsenal Ramsey was playing well last season and scored some very good goals for them. I’d say those two so far,” he was quoted as saying by The Liverpool Echo.
Ramsey was one of the standout performers for the Gunners last season, scoring a number of crucial goals including the winner in the 3-2 FA Cup victory over Hull City last May.
The Welsh midfielder has continued to be an integral part of Wenger’s side this campaign and recently scored a mesmerising 30-yard half-volley in the 4-1 Champions League victory over Galatasary.
Likewise Hazard has been one of the Premier League’s most outstanding players over the past 18 months, winning the Blues’ Player of the Year award last season.
This season he has notched six league goals and added a further two assists in 16 matches, helping Jose Mourinho’s side lead the Premier League table by three points heading in to the busy festive period.
