Are these players Tottenham's five main January transfer targets?

WH Lane

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with some very good players over the past week.

Tottenham Hotspur are fighting for success on four fronts at the moment, which could prompt manager Mauricio Pochettino to dip into the transfer market this winter.

Here are five key names linked with signing for the club over the past week.

Jackson Martinez (FC Porto)

Reports earlier this week claimed Tottenham could axe two players as they looked to do a deal for the £40 million rated Porto forward.

Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern Munich)

Tottenham continue to be linked with a move for the Bayern Munich winger, whenever there is an update on his transfer situation.

Virgil van Dijk (Celtic)

The Celtic centre back has been suggested as a January addition though the club faces competition from Arsenal and Liverpool.

Seydou Doumbia (CSKA Moscow)

Several clubs are thought to be tracking the Moscow star, with Tottenham one of the sides linked with making a January bid to sign him as Pochettino looks to refresh his options up front.

Adrien Rabiot (Paris Saint-Germain)

This is a link which has been running for a number of weeks, with previous reports claiming a deal had already been agreed for the PSG youngster.
