West Ham are looking to consolidate their position in the Champions League places ahead of two very difficult games before the end of 2014, whilst Leicester are searching for the win that could them off the bottom for Christmas day.
To be played on Saturday 20th December 2014 at 15:00. Venue: Boleyn Ground, London
Odds: West Ham 7/10, Draw 3/1, Leicester 9/2
The Hammers are still flying high at the moment and win here would take the pressure of Sam Allardyce's side going into games against Chelsea and Arsenal before the New Year.
West Ham currently sit fourth in the table having won three of their last four league games - only losing one of the last ten. The currently sit two points clear of Southampton in the Champions League places.
In stark contrast, Leicester City are struggling for form, and haven't won a game since their memorable 5-3 victory over Manchester United in September. If results go their way they could lift themselves off the bottom of the table - and the side that is bottom on Christmas day often tends to amongst the three relegated from the top flight.
“I watched the Man City game last week and Nigel Pearson's team has many dangers which we have to be aware of.”
“I've worked with Sam [Allardyce]. His team are doing very well and it's important that we use that as an example.”
