Tottenham stars were delighted with the Capital One Cup win over Newcastle United.

Tottenham Hotspur stars reacted with delight to their 4-0 win over Newcastle United.

Spurs had lost 2-1 to the Toon in the Premier League earlier this season, but this time around they never looked like losing.

Nabil Bentaleb scored an opener after an error from Jak Alnwick, before three second half goals from Nacer Chadli, Harry Kane and Roberto Soldado.

Kane's goal took his tally for the season to 13 in all competitions, a figure bettered only by Alexis Sanchez and Sergio Aguero.

Tottenham have as a result landed a draw with League One side Sheffield United, avoiding Chelsea and Liverpool.

It will see Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton get the chance to return to their former clubs over the two-legged tie.

One player who may yet get the chance to feature is DeAndre Yedlin, who could link up with Tottenham in January if reports of him coming over early from Seattle are finalised. He was cheering Spurs on via Twitter last night, as they took on Newcastle.

Here's a look at what he, and the stars who played in the win had to say about Tottenham's victory...
