The report rates the chances of each current Premier League boss keeping their job during the winter and Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino compares favourably to two surprising colleagues.
According to the Telegraph’s assessment, Pochettino is considered as safe as Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini, with all three managers considered 7/10 to be sacked (1 being almost certain).
Wenger is effectively at Arsenal until he retires while Pellegrini won the Premier League title last season and guided City into the last 16 of the Champions League, when few thought it was possible.
Pochettino seems set to avoid a trend from recent years at Tottenham, which has seen the manager sacked at White Hart Lane during the festive period.
Tottenham are fighting on four fronts, with silverware a realistic possibility on two, with a place in the final of the League Cup at Wembley now just two games away.
He’s safe, for now.
