Ian Harte thanked Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling for swapping shirts.
Bournemouth veteran Ian Harte is a player who has seen it all, from playing in both the World Cup and Champions League.
The Irishman is best known for his exploits with Leeds United, but is still going strong with Eddie Howe's high flying Bournemouth.
He was not involved in their 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday night, but still took the opportunity to ask for a shirt from the Reds two goal hero Raheem Sterling.
The England international, 20, is almost half the age of Harte who is now 37, yet the Bournemouth ace still clearly holds him in high regard.
He sent a message out on Twitter thanking Sterling for his shirt after the Capital One Cup final match.
The Liverpool ace would be remiss if he didn't take this as a huge compliment. Harte has played against the likes of Barcelona legend Rivaldo, and won't hail such an up and coming star lightly.
