Dwight Powell joins him making the trade with Dallas sending three players and two drafts picks as compensation.

Rondo is an All-Star point guard, but has been keen to switch to take on a new challenge.

Dallas sit sixth in the Western Conference at present with a 19-8 win loss record. Boston are ninth in the Eastern Conference at 9-14.
