Michael Owen, Jack Grealish and Jamie Carragher all praised Adam Lallana for his performance against Bournemouth in the League Cup on Wednesday.
Liverpool legend Michael Owen and Aston Villa attacker Jack Grealish were impressed with the performances of Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho on Wednesday.
Both the Liverpool attacking midfielders started the League Cup quarter-final tie against Bournemouth at the Goldsands Stadium.
Lallana and Coutinho linked up well with their fellow attackers, and showed the kind of wizardry that everyone knows they are capable.
Both Owen and Grealish were following the match and were impressed with the duo’s performance in the first half.
Liverpool looking really sharp, Coutinho and Lallana in particular. http://t.co/ZdTMvzv3Xk

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was also watching the game, which ended in a 3-1 victory for Brendan Rodgers’s side.
The former England international defender was impressed with the Reds’ performance and with Lallana, although he did not like the 26-year-old’s haircut.
Only thing I don't like about Lallana tonight is his haircut. Got a great first touch and always takes the ball on the move.

Great goal! Brilliant pass from Markovic header back & finish from Sterling. Lallana doing his Johan Cryuff impressions was my favourite bit

Good win that when you're on a bad run. Sterling did the damage but Lallana mom he must become one of the first names on the team sheet!
