Bolton's Neil Lennon looking to Scotland, with David Templeton linked

Reports suggest that ex-Celtic manager Neil Lennon is scouring the Scottish market again, with Rangers winger David Templeton linked with Bolton Wanderers.

Neil Lennon was always going to turn his attention to the Scottish market upon inheriting the managerial reins at Championship side Bolton Wanderers.

Having spent four successful years in charge of Celtic, he is aware of the leading lights north of the border and what they have to offer.

It has already been suggested that he will return to Parkhead in January in an effort to land players he knows well.

Kris Commons is reported to be among those he has his sights set on, with the talented playmaker yet to agree a contract extension in Glasgow.

Lennon is also said to be looking towards the blue half of the city, according to the Daily Record, with Rangers still working their way through a period of instability.

David Templeton is among those to have fallen out of favour this season, and the 25-year-old may be tempted to try his luck in England.

Bolton are in need of attacking reinforcements, with loan star Joe Mason picking up an unfortunate knock.

Eidur Gudjohnsen has been offered a deal through to the end of the season, and Emile Heskey has been training with the Trotters, but Templeton could the long-term option Lennon is after.
