Tottenham Hostpur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been rather quiet lately, having recently been allowed to leave the country for personal reasons and not featuring for the north London side for some time.
Tottenham fans, of course, will not need reminding of Henry's deadly ability in front of goal, with the Arsenal striker causing the Gunners' fierce rivals no end of problems over the years.
Adebayor, though, has played on both sides of the north London divide - and couldn't help but pay tribute to his former Arsenal team-mate on Twitter.
What a career this legend has had!Feel privileged 2 have been on the same side.Good luck with Sky my bro.See you soon pic.twitter.com/PA9RxoanWP— Emmanuel Adebayor (@E_Adebayor) December 18, 2014
Henry recently announced his retirement as a player and will now work for Sky Sports as a football pundit.
As for Adebayor's playing career, the Togolese forward faces an uncertain Tottenham future - but could salvage some hope with another run like that of last year, when the 30-year-old came out of the Spurs development squad to produce a clinical run of goals under former boss Tim Sherwood.
