Real Madrid eased their way into the Club World Cup final with their 21st consecutive win as they saw off Cruz Azul 4-0 in Marrakech.
The goals came courtesy of Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema, Welsh international Gareth Bale and Isco while Cruz Azul were left rueing a missed penalty.
But while Cristiano Ronaldo was a menace, he didn't get any clear-cut chances to score his 33rd goal of the current campaign.
However, the former Manchester United man did attempt one outlandish piece of skill that would have been talked about for years to come had it succeeded.
Ronaldo had a decent effort at pulling off the fabled half-volley rabona, but his shot was too easy for the goalkeeper. It still brought incredulity from the Real bench, who were in awe of the Portuguese superstar's vision.
