One of the key traits of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is his hard work.
The England Under-21 international is enjoying a breakthrough season under manager Mauricio Pochettino and has established himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Kane is considered by many as the best finisher in the Tottenham squad, and he has also been hailed for his worth ethic.
Indeed, during games the 21-year-old often drops deep to help out in midfield and is not averse to making surging runs forward.
Against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday, Kane worked really hard and covered 13.1 kilometres.
But there was one Tottenham player who covered more distance than him: Christian Eriksen.
It is marginally more than Kane, of course, but he covered the most ground in the Premier League in Matchweek 16 and that cannot be denied.
If one is going to praise Kane for his hard work, then Eriksen should be recognised for it as well. A truly talented player gifted with vision and creativity, the 22-year-old is actually better than the Englishman and is probably more important to Tottenham as well.
