QPR latest: R's in 'pole position' to sign Manning, Hoilett could leave

According to Ladbrokes News, QPR could offload Junior Hoilett to Sunderland to help them secure Jermain Defoe in January.

Hoilett has flattered to deceive since joining the R's and is seen as dispensable by boss Harry Redknapp.

Meanwhile, QPR are in pole position to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Ryan Manning, according to the Irish Mirror.

Both the R's and Spurs have been linked with the 18-year-old but it is the west London side that are nearing a move. The report states:

'Tottenham remain in the hunt for Tommy Dunne’s hot prospect and Ipswich Town are also interested - but QPR are in pole position.'

Reece Grego-Cox

Elswhere, QPR youngster has signed his first professional contract with the club.

'Reece Grego-Cox has put pen to paper on his first professional contract at QPR,' the club's official website announced.

'The Hammersmith-born striker, who has been at the club since the age of 13, has agreed terms on a two-and-a-half-year deal until the summer of 2017.'
