Tottenham's clash with Fiorentina in the Europa League is already eagerly anticipated in Italy.
The two sides have never met in a competitive match, and the pair appear well matched ahead of the last-32 clash.
Former West Ham and Watford sporting director Gianluca Nani was asked by Italian website TMW on his views on Tottenham, and he talked up star player Christian Eriksen.
He said: "Tottenham is a great English team despite the ups and downs. They have a great organisation. Pochettino has a coach who plays ball on the ground, in a very European style.
"Who would I take? Perhaps Eriksen. He is often criticized but the spark, awareness and incision, there are other good players but he is the one who can give the most trouble."
He went onto add that he considered the match-up a fascinating one, but did not give a prediction as to the result.
While Eriksen is a well known international who Fiorentina will be well aware of, Spurs can hope Harry Kane can be their surprise factor.
The striker has been superb this season and while the Italians will have him scouted, his energy and combination with Eriksen could be a threat which causes real trouble for a defence marshalled by former Manchester City flop Stefan Savic.
