Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has praised the efforts of his teammates upon their Capital One Cup win.
The Reds avoided a potential upset away at Championship surprise package Bournemouth, winning 3-1.
Raheem Sterling scored two in the win, while Lazar Markovic also began to answer his doubters by finding the net.
Buzzing we're in the semi finals!!! Well done to the lads and Raz for notching a couple. Also Lazar for scoring his first goal for LFC.— Daniel Sturridge (@D_Sturridge) December 17, 2014
It's a huge difference on a week ago, when Sturridge was tweeting about feeling 'devastated' at Liverpool being knocked out of the Champions League.
In that against Basel match Markovic was sent off, infuriating fans, which made his turnaround even more important - even if 'only' against a Championship side.
Liverpool have a two-legged semi-final against Chelsea up next, giving Sturridge the chance to get one over his former club providing he suffers no further injury setbacks.
