Trine Enchanted Edition journeys to PS4 next week

Frozenbyte’s revamped three-way puzzle-platformer gets a PS4 outing on 23rd December

Trine, a celebrated fantasy themed puzzle-platformer is making its way to PS4 next week as announced by developer Frozenbyte.

The game which offers cooperative play centres around three swapable characters, the Thief, Wizard and Knight as they combine to use different abilities to overcome the game’s challenges. The Enchanted Edition uses a more recent engine (the same used to make Trine 2) and adds in online multiplayer features

Fitting in with the conventions of old games being remade for new gen consoles, Trine on PS4 promises “dazzling new visual effects” and “a vast number of gameplay improvements.” You can also expect to experience the game running at 60 frames per second in 1080p resolution with the additional benefits of stereoscopic 3D.

Trine Enchanted Edition will be available on PSN from 23rd December, a version for PC is already available and a port to Wii U is also to be announced.
