Chelsea, Stoke and Liverpool stars react on Twitter to Theirry Henry's retirement

Theirry Henry's former teammates Cesc Fabregas and Bojan have reacted to news of his retirement, along with Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas described Theirry Henry as one of the best players he's ever played with, after the Frenchman announced his retirement to join Sky as a pundit.

Henry will not be joining another team after his contract expired with New York Red Bulls in the MLS.

Fabregas played with Henry when the pair were together at Arsenal before he left for Barcelona.

On loan Stoke City star Bojan was in a similar position to plenty of youngsters who admired Henry growing up, with the exception that he came through the ranks at the same club.

Bojan reacted to the news by simply branding Henry a legend and thanking him for the role he played in his development.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has also reacted to the news of Thierry Henry’s retirement, Tweeting about how the French striker played a big role in his development.

Sturridge implied Henry was an inspirational figure as he got his teeth stuck into his own professional career.
