Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has hinted at frustration over the club’s Christmas and New Year schedule.
The boss has suggested that there should be discussions over a winter break in England.
“We know at the end of December we have a difficult period with all the games and a break is a discussion we are not having in this moment,” said the boss.
Barcelona star Lionel Messi has poked fun at Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero after the sides were drawn together for the last 16 of the Champions League.
Messi took to Facebook to tell fans all about how he always beats his close friend, but with a difference.
“It’ll be really nice to face my friend Sergio Aguero as I always beat him at FIFA, but let’s see what happens on the pitch,” said the Argentine.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has praised the way Frank Lampard has had an effect on Manchester City.
Lampard has been superb when he’s been called on by City boss Manuel Pellegrini this season.
“He’s playing a key role for Man City - he’s still showing the professionalism and desire to do things the right way,” said Neville on Sky Sports.
