Manchester City reportedly tried to sign 18-year-old Nigerian player Musa Muhammed.

The teenager currently plays for FC Heat Academy and football agent Eddie Duah has allegedly said City were interested in the young right-back.

In an interview with SL10 later published by, Duah is quoted as saying, “I wanted to take him to a top club in the English Premier League, but his Nigerian agent had other plans for him.

“So I backed out. It was a real shame because Musa’s style of play would have been fantastic for the English Premier League.”

City recently signed another young Nigerian in the form of Kelechi Iheanacho but it appears his countryman will not be joining him.

In other news, Italian side AC Milan are reportedly interested in bringing Matija Nastasic to the San Siro.
