Leicester and Burnley reportedly hold talks with former Arsenal player Emmanuel Eboue

A one-time Arsenal player is said to have had talks with both Leicester City and Burnley.

Leicester City and Burnley are reportedly interested in bringing former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue back to the Premier League.

The 31-year-old right-back currently plays for Turkish side Galatasaray but his contract expires in the summer and he has reportedly been put on the transfer list.

Now Turkishfootball.com has picked up on reports from Eurosport that Leicester and Burnley are among those interested in signing the Ivorian, with the two English clubs allegedly holding talks with the player.

Eboue made 213 appearances for Arsenal during his time in North London and following his departure he has played on 101 occasions for Galatasaray to date. But this season things have not gone well, with Eboue said to be training with the Turkish side’s reserve team.

Given his age and his experience, Eboue could be a smart addition for either Leicester or Burnley, but it remains to be seen if the player sees his future back in the country where he made his name.
