VIDEO: Thierry Henry's five best goals for Arsenal

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry scored some great goals for the club in his career.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has announced his retirement from the game.

The Frenchman said it would have been a mistake for him to return to the Emirates as a player for a third spell, as he prepares for life as a pundit with Sky Sports.

Henry is undoubtedly one of Arsenal’s greatest ever players and while he’s not returning as a player, he may well end up back at his old club one day in the future.

His return would have injected some excitement and enthusiasm into the Gunners, but he’s explained he’s keen on a career analysing the game with Sky, who he developed an association with during his playing days.

He’s Arsenal’s all time record goalscorer and terrorised defences all over England and Europe during his career with the North London club.

Here are five of his best goals in an Arsenal shirt including his effort against Tottenham where he ran from inside his own half, his flick and volley against Manchester United, his comeback goal against Leeds, his slick goal against Real Madrid and one of his lower profile efforts.
