Chelsea morning news: Fabregas on best position, Marquinhos warning for Blues

A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas feels he’s being used in the right way by manager Jose Mourinho.

The Spaniard has had a great start to life at the Blues and is one of the leading assists providers in the Premier League.

“Where I am playing right now is the position I like the most because I feel I can dictate the play and I feel in control,” he told Chelsea’s official magazine.

PSG star Marquinhos has hinted his side are out for revenge against Chelsea in the Champions League.

The sides were put together in the draw for the last 16 yesterday after meeting in the knock out stages last season.

“The elimination suffered last season was painful. We will build on this to avoid repeating the same mistakes,” he told PSG TV.

Derby boss Steve McLaren has piled the praise onto Chelsea ahead of the League Cup clash between the sides.

Derby have been in and around the top of the Championship for most of this season.

“At the moment they are the strongest. I can’t see a weakness, we tried to find one and it lasted about five seconds,” he’s quoted by the Independent.
