Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has announced his retirement from professional football.
The former France international striker made the declaration on his official Facebook page earlier this morning.
The 37-year-old announced at the start of December that he was leaving MLS outfit New York Red Bulls, and said that he was still thinking about his next move.
There were suggestions at the time that Henry will retire, and it has now been confirmed that he will no longer play professionally.
During his time at Arsenal, Henry won the Premier League twice and the FA Cup thrice. At Barcelona, the Frenchman clinched La Liga twice and the Champions League once.
