Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Stoke City and Manchester City feature.
16 Days until the Transfer Window opens, here's a look at a few of the stories making the papers overnight...
The Telegraph have revealed how Manchester City pulled out of negotiations to sign Neymar over his demands over specia boots. The paper reported that the Brazilian wanted specially designed boots to cope with the Premier League's muddy pitches, and City withdrew - believing his heart was really set on playing in Spain. He signed with Barcelona two summers ago and will face the Premier League champions in the last 16 of the Champions League after the teams were drawn together on Monday.
The Mirror report Tottenham will get ruthless with Emmanuel Adebayor despite his recent personal problems. The striker is out of favour, and Spurs will seek to ship him out on loan if they cannot find a buyer. He has been on compassionate leave and remains the club's vice-captain, but his wages are likely to prohibit a permanent move.
The same paper reports interest in Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele from Stoke City, but they can only afford to take him in on loan. It is also reported in the piece that a swap deal has been suggested for Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph whose contract expires in the summer.
Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is interesting Atletico Madrid, report The Mail, but on one condition - they want to sign him for free. They are likely to be out of luck in bringing back the Spaniard after AC Milan refuted suggestions earlier on Monday that they could cut his loan deal short.
- Curtis Davies
Everton could make a shock move for Hull City's Curtis Davies, report The Mirror. The club captain and reigning player of the year at Hull has lost his place recently and is considering his options. At 29, Davies has plenty still to offer and in the summer will have one year only remaining on his contract.
