Villa fans react on Twitter to N'Zogbia's performance against West Brom

Aston Villa lost 1-0 to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday but what did their fans think of Charles N'Zogbia's performance?

Aston Villa suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion on Saturday; a result that saw Paul Lambert's side slip to 12th place in the Premier League table.

Villa had slightly more possession on the day but with just two shots on target during the encounter they were ultimately found wanting.

With the scores level Kieran Richardson was dismissed for the visitors, prompting Lambert into a change of tactics. At half-time Charles N'Zogbia was replaced by Fabian Delph but it was West Brom who ultimately secured the win courtesy of Craig Gardner.

During his time on the pitch N'Zogbia had a passing accuracy of 92 per cent, but it is telling that only four of his passes were played ahead of him.  He also won one tackle, made no interceptions and touched the ball 30 times.

With Villa in need of additional midfield steel it was no surprise when N'Zogbia was replaced, but the change failed to alter the result.
