The Burkina Faso youngster was on the score-sheet as Vitesse drew 1-1 in Groningen.
Chelsea have had talented Burkinabe midfielder Bertrand Traore on their books for a while now although officially he only signed for the club in January. Prior to that the starlet could not receive a work permit for the club - but a pre-contract agreement was found in October 2013 after the 18-year-old had shone during the club's pre-season campaign.
But the Chelsea first team is certainly a difficult place to make your home - especially as a relatively unknown teen.
So for the past year he has been on the books at Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem, where many a Chelsea youngster has recently plied their trade.
His time at the club has been mixed, but overall he has impressed with his performances in Holland.
Today he did more than just impress. He scored the opening goal for Vitesse against Groningen today, curling a cute right-footed finish beyond the helpless Sergio Padt in goal.
It was his third goal of the season and his first since October so it had certainly been coming.
However it did not help Vitesse end a winless run of six games stretching back to October as they drew the game, in which fellow Chelsea youngster Josh McEachran featured, 1-1.
But Traore will be pleased to be back among the goals.
