1) Tottenham quoted £20m for Krul

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been quoted at least £20 million for goalkeeper Tim Krul should they want to prise the shot stopper away from Newcastle United in the summer. Spurs have been linked with the Dutchman in case Hugo Lloris leaves north London at the end of the season. Newcastle, however, will not be willing to let their no.1 go cheap. Source: Sunday People.

2) Arsenal eye defender & midfielder in January

Tottenham's north London rivals Arsenal, meanwhile, have been linked with both a defender and a midfielder this January. Benedikt Howedes is reportedly on the Gunners' radar to boost their back line - the German can play both at centre-back and full-back. Elsewhere, Spartak Moscow midfielder Romulo could also be the subject of an £8 million bid from Arsenal. Sources: Sunday People, Daily Mail.

3) Liverpool to move for former Manchester United target?

Liverpool have been linked with former Manchester United and Tottenham target Fredy Guarin. The Colombian could move to Liverpool on loan in January, as the club look to save money on transfers and seek temporary deals only. Guarin has been heavily linked with Manchester United in the past but now could be on Liverpool's radar. Source: Sunday People.

4) New York Red Bulls want Gerrard

Elsewhere, former Reds boss Gerard Houllier will look to tempt Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard into a move to New York Red Bulls in the summer should he fail to agree a new contract with the Anfield side. Houllier is the MLS club's sporting director and worked with Gerrard during his several years on Merseyside. Source: Daily Telegraph.
