The QPR man was discussing the finishing of the Manchester United and Liverpool stars.
Manchester United defeated Liverpool 3-0 this afternoon, but in truth that scoreline somewhat flatters the home team. They were the better team at Old Trafford but if it was not for David De Gea the result could have been a lot different.
Before the game Gary Neville believed United would win simply because they have better finishers in their side. That was evident on the first goal.
Raheem Sterling, playing up front for Liverpool, got in behind the defence but was not clinical in front of goal. He was denied by De Gea and United went up the pitch, Antonio Valencia decimated three Liverpool defenders in one nutmeg, before laying the ball on a plate for Wayne Rooney to put Manchester United 1-0 up.
Former United star Rio Ferdinand was Tweeting throughout the game and after the opening goal he reiterated that point. The clinicality of United is what got them through the game.
Sterling misses....Rooney doesn't....maturity the difference...— Rio Ferdinand (@rioferdy5) December 14, 2014
Liverpool need Daniel Sturridge back fighting fit, and fast.
