The Ghanaian midfielder has joked about a move to Liverpool.
What a swing! Nine months after Liverpool thrashed Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford they themselves have became the victims of such a scoreline.
It seals off a woeful week for Liverpool, who went out of the Champions League with a draw against Swiss side FC Basel in midweek, as the clinical finishing and goalkeeping heroics of David De Gea saw Liverpool crash to defeat.
But at least Liverpool have the open offer from a former Premier League player of a move to Anfield.
Former Arsenal starlet Emmanuel Frimpong joined obscure Russian outfit FC Ufa on a free transfer. He left Yorkshire side Barnsley this summer after just a few months at the club and was therefore a free agent, looking for a new direction.
He never quite cut it in England. Injuries decimated his playing time with the club and he never became the first-team starter Arsene Wenger thought he might at Arsenal.
But if Liverpool want him, he has made it clear he could make the switch from Russia...
We imagine Liverpool will manage without him.
