Former Arsenal and Celtic striker John Hartson has been singing the praises of Wilfried Bony.
Swansea City striker Bony has been in superb form so far this season, scoring seven goals and creating 17 chances in 15 Premier League matches.
The Ivory Coast international has been a key reason behind the Swans’ brilliant form this campaign, and former Wales international Harrison is a huge admirer of the 26-year-old.
"I'm a huge fan of his," Swansea’s official website quotes the 39-year-old as saying. "I like the fact he loves to show people his strength.
“When the ball is rolled into him, he puts his foot on it and gives himself a couple of seconds before laying it off. That shows the crowd and the defender just how strong he is…
"He has a great leap, he's scored some great headed goals and I speak to a lot of other players around the Premier League while I'm working and they all say how amazingly strong he is.
"He is pivotal to the way Swansea play, but he'll be a miss come January. That is something the manager may have to look at, whether he'll go into the loan market or not.”
Hartson has highlighted Bony’s qualities, and now Tottenham need to be prepared.
One suspects that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino already knows how good Bony is, and it will be interesting to see if he has devised any special plan for the former Vitesse star.
If Tottenham fail to cope with Bony today, then they could lose the Premier League encounter at the Liberty Stadium.
