Arsenal are just one of three English teams awaiting the Champions League draw tomorrow in Nyon and they will once again face a group winner.
They finished second in their group behind Borussia Dortmund, a late comeback from Anderlecht in Belgium proving crucial.
That means Arsenal will face either Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Monaco, Barcelona or Porto in the next round. Of course they could reacquaint themselves with Bayern Munich for the third season in a row.
Arsenal have been dumped out by the fantastic German team on two occasions in as many years at the last 16 stage.
So Arsenal fans will certainly hope to avoid a repeat meet with one of Europe's most feared opposition.
Arsene Wenger was reminded of this fact over the weekend. When speaking to reporters after defeating Newcastle United 4-1 at The Emirates Wenger gave this response when asked about potentially facing them again:
"We have been well served in the recent years.
"Maybe I will go to church over the weekend."
Pray hard for Monaco Arsene!
