Anthony Stokes is overjoyed to have helped Celtic earn all three points from Sunday’s Scottish Premiership clash against St. Mirren.

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes is delighted to have helped his side to victory over St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

The Bhoys eased to a 4-1 win at Celtic Park to go six points clear at the top of the league table.

Scott Brown put Celtic ahead in the fourth minute, and James Forrest made it 2-1 in the 15th minute after Sean Kelly had equalised for St. Mirren.

Club captain Brown effectively ended the game as a contest when he added his second just minutes later, and midway through the second half former Arsenal prospect Stokes wrapped up the victory with his side’s fourth.

It was a hugely comprehensive win for the Glasgow giants, leading Stokes to revel in the success on social networking site Twitter.

Celtic are currently six points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 38 points from 16 matches.
