Adrian takes to social networking site Twitter to have his say on West Ham United’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian has hailed the effort of his side against Sunderland away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Hammers had to come from behind to draw the game 1-1 at the Stadium of Light to maintain their position in the top four.

Jordi Gomez gave hosts Sunderland the lead from the penalty spot after Adam Johnson had been brought down by James Tomkins inside the West Ham box.

It was a controversial decision, but seven minutes later Stewart Downing equalised for the London with a deflected effort.

Both sides had chances as the game progressed, but they had to settle a point, with Adrian impressed with the performance of West Ham’s outfield players.

The result leaves West Ham in fourth place in the Premier League table with 28 points from 16 matches.
