Arsenal are once again having to move a full-back inside because of injury and suspension this weekend.
Unfortunately for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, once again he will have to do it with a long list of absentees.
Aaron Ramsey, who scored a wonderful brace in Turkey this week, is out for a month with injury and the defence is again ramshackle.
Calum Chambers was sent off in the defeat to Stoke City last week so he is missing. Injuries also hamper plans with Laurent Koscielny out with a niggling calf problem. Nacho Monreal, who has often covered at centre-back, is also absent with a foot problem.
That means Arsene Wenger must decide on whether to bring Isaac Hayden into the starting XI, who himself has only just returned to training after ankle trouble, or whether to play Mathieu Debuchy, formerly of Newcastle, in a rather odd position.
If he goes with the latter it will certainly be a case of little and large. The 5ft 10 full-back will partner the 6ft 6 German international Per Mertesacker this evening in something of an odd defensive partnership.
And it looks like the two were discussing how best to tackle their new found closeness in training yesterday...
