Michael Owen expects both Manchester United and Liverpool to score

Michael Owen looks ahead to Sunday’s Premier League game between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Michael Owen expects both Manchester United and Liverpool to score in the Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday.

“United have won their last five in the PL without overly impressing and I expect to see goals and plenty of chances at either end on Sunday," the former England international wrote on Betvictor.com.

A note added: ‘Michael’s recommendation: Both Teams To Score at 8/11’.

Owen does not predict the outcome of the match, but his claim that both United and Liverpool is quite logical indeed.

Neither United nor Liverpool are exactly great defensively, although the Red Devils have shown improvements in that department in the last few matches.

Liverpool are struggling for goals, but given the nature of this game, one would expect them to get chances and make the most of at least one of them.

United will head into the Premier League encounter as the favourites, but Liverpool’s chances of picking up all three points at Old Trafford should not written off just yet.
