L'Equipe: Ben Arfa might not be at Hull OR Newcastle after January

The beleaguered Frenchman is considering his options, according to reports.

Hatem Ben Arfa's current transfer situation is complicated to say the least.

Or, looking at it another way, it's rather simple: no one seems to want him right now.

Alan Pardew loaned him out at Newcastle United, while Steve Bruce at Hull City has admitted that move hasn't quite worked out yet.

Granted, Hull haven't actually said they want him to leave - but, according to French site L'Equipe, Ben Arfa has had enough of sitting on the bench for the Tigers.

Indeed, their report suggests Ben Arfa is seeking a Hull exit as soon as possible, although, once again, it is complicated.

Due to the Frenchman's strained relationship with boss Pardew - not to mention the fact that the Magpies are doing just fine without him - Ben Arfa is exploring his options in terms of leaving parent club Newcastle.

The 27-year-old, then, may end up at neither Hull nor Newcastle after January, if L'Equipe's report is to be believed. Where next for the beleaguered forward?
