Leeds United-owned striker Noel Hunt is happy with the point Ipswich Town picked up at Bolton Wanderers in the Championship on Saturday.

Noel Hunt has expressed his delight with Ipswich Town’s goalless draw with Bolton Wanderers away from home in the Championship on Saturday.

The 31-year-old attacker came on as a substitute in the 78th minute at the Reebok Stadium, but he failed to break the deadlock.

Nevertheless, Hunt, who is currently on loan at Ipswich from Leeds United, is happy with the point and has thanked the club’s fans for their support away from home.

A win would have taken Ipswich to the top of the Championship table, but the draw means that Mick McCarthy’s side are currently fourth with 38 points from 21 matches, just a point behind leaders Bournemouth.

Meanwhile, Hunt’s parent club Leeds went down 1-0 at home to Fulham and remain five points above the relegation zone.
