Daniel Pudil celebrates Watford win on Twitter with Sir Elton John

The out-of-favour Watford star posted a picture of himself on social media with the club legend.

Daniel Pudil celebrated Watford's 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic in truly unique fashion on Saturday afternoon.

Indeed, the Hornets star took to Twitter with a picture of himself with club legend Sir Elton John.

Sir Elton was at Vicarage Road to watch Watford take on Wigan and unveil the 'Sir Elton John Stand,' with the club's Honorary Life President a welcome visitor on the day.

Seeing a victory capped things off for the legendary musician, although many supporters are at a loss as to why Pudil, the man snapped with him, isn't currently in Slavisa Jokanovic's team.

Sir Elton was pitchside before the Wigan game and gave an emotional deliverance of the following speech:

"Thank you very very much - this is one of the greatest days of my life," the life-long Watford fan said.

"When I was six years old I used to come and stand over there. I never thought I'd ever have a stand named after me. I never thought I'd sit in a stand!"
