Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has picked out his best ever XI of players he has featured alongside.
Yet surprisingly despite spending the longest period of his career, 10 years at Newcastle - just two of his ex-Toon teammates make it in.
The Newcastle stars included were former midfielder Rob Lee, and striker Les Ferdinand.
Shearer picked the team on SkySports show the Fantasy Football Club, and said that while he played alongside Ferdinand for only one season, he 'had a lot of fun', and saw often fear in opposing defences in the tunnels before games.
His team is as follows: David Seaman; Gary Neville, Tony Adams, Colin Hendry, Stuart Pearce; Rob Lee, Matt le Tissier, Paul Gascoigne, Paul Scholes; Teddy Sheringham, and Les Ferdinand.
The creativity in the midfield Shearer chose makes an incredibly dynamic quartet, and shows the calibre of players he played with from his Southampton days onwards.
In defence he admitted he had a team 'full of talkers', and came close to picking centre-back Phillipe Albert, formerly of Newcastle but picked ex-Blackburn colleague Colin Hendry instead.
