A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has ruled out selling Morgan Schneiderlin in January.
Reports broke yesterday that the Frenchman was stalling over a new deal with the Saints, but the Dutchman doesn’t expect him to leave.
“We will sell nobody in January. Morgan’s attitude is fantastic – everybody knows that he had a difficult time in the summer, but finally he accepted his situation,” said Koeman.
Tottenham have reportedly held talks with Galway midfielder Ryan Manning.
The Ireland under-19 international has also been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers.
Mauricio Pochettino says he’s disappointed with the Europa League defeat away at Besiktas.
Spurs lost 1-0 to finish second in their group in a game that was stopped twice due to a lack of power.
“I’m disappointed because we dominated, but in football you need to score when you create chances and dominate. We had clear chances but we were unlucky in front of goal. This is football,” said the boss.
