Ryan Ledson reacts to Everton debut

Ryan Ledson is overjoyed to have played his first Everton senior game against FK Krasnodar in the Europa League on Thursday.

Ryan Ledson is delighted to have made his first-team debut for Everton on Thursday.

The 17-year-old midfielder played his first senior game for the Toffees when he started the Europa League Group H clash against FK Krasnodar at Goodison Park.

The youngster played the entire 90 minutes and gave a good account of himself, and he is overjoyed to have played for the Everton first team.

Ledson will now hope for more chances as the season progresses, although Everton manager Roberto Martinez is unlikely to use him anytime soon.

The match against Krasnodar was 'meaningless' as Everton had already qualified for the round of 32 in the Europa League, but Ledson’s good showing will have certainly impressed Martinez.
