A round up of news stories this morning about Manchester United.
Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson says Manchester United are lucky to have won five games in a row.
United head into the derby game against Liverpool this weekend with momentum behind them after a great run of results.
“They’ve won five on the trot; Southampton they shouldn’t have won, against Stoke last week De Gea made two wonder saves and then they cleared a shot off the line. Arsenal should have been out of sight in 30 minutes,” said Merson.
Manchester United linked teenager Martin Odegaard spent time training at Bayern Munich last week.
The £12 million rated 15-year-old is one of the most highly sought after youngsters in European football.
Previous reports have suggested 30 clubs have been tracking his progress.
Manchester United legend Denis Law has backed Radamel Falcao to do the business for the club.
The striker has struggled to stay fit and in the team following a loan move from Monaco last summer.
“Falcao looks well and is a very good player – once he gets fully fit and feels right, he will come good,” said Law.
