A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham continue to be linked with a move for Espanyol defender Hector Moreno.
Moreno is being heavily tipped to make a January move to White Hart Lane having worked under Pochettino when the pair were at the Spanish club.
However, the latest reports suggest Moreno feels the speculation is just a rumour and nothing more.
Kyle Walker says he’s up for the fight over England’s right-back spot against Nathaniel Clyne.
Clyne has been the standout player in his position this season, but Walker is set to make his comeback from injury this evening.
“I relish the opportunity to compete against the best in my position. That will only make me better as a player,” said Walker.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has pledged his support to Emmanuel Adebayor.
The striker has not travelled for the Europa League game away at Besiktas due to personal reasons.
“I hope he sorts his problems. I don't know how long [he will be out] but we hope he will stay with us next week to train. When you have a problem, your mind is not quite... it is difficult to give your best,” said Pochettino.
