Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is delighted with Kyle Walker’s comeback but is disappointed with the defeat to Besiktas in the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his delight with the return to action of defender Kyle Walker.

The England international right-back make his first appearance in nine months when he started Spurs’ Europa League Group C clash against Besiktas in Istanbul.

Walker gave a good account of himself in the 1-0 defeat to the Turkish giants, and Pochettino was pleased with the 24-year-old’s display.

The defeat to Besiktas means that Tottenham finished runners-up in Group C, having already qualified for the round of 32.

Pochettino has now urged his players to forget about the Europa League and focus on the domestic competitions.

Tottenham are back in Premier League action on Sunday when they take on Swansea City away from home.
