Italian side Napoli are believed to be interested in the Crystal Palace winger.

When Liverpool were decimated by Crystal Palace in November there was little doubt who the star performer was for The Eagles - winger Yannick Bolasie.

The marauding winger has been going under the radar for his performances in the Premier League since Palace were promoted but this game-winning turn left fans in no doubt that Bolasie is the real deal. ]

It also saw him linked with a move to Liverpool.

After the game it as being rumoured that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wanted the DR Congo winger to join the Anfield club and add some attacking verve to a side stunted this season.

However Palace boss Neil Warnock made it clear that would not be happening:

“He’s a great lad and the top clubs don’t know what he can and can’t do so how can they come in for him. I think he is made to measure for Palace. It is that kind of the club with the stage and the fans."

But it seems his performances have not just caught the eye of a current Liverpool manager, but also a former one.

It is being reported that Italian side Napoli, managed by legendary Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, are also keen on the signature of the player.

Napoli, who have raided the Premier League in recent times for the likes of Michu, Pepe Reina and Jonathan De Guzman, are believed to be eyeing up a potential move for the French-born winger in January.

But regardless of whether a current or former Liverpool manager wants the final say is with Crystal Palace. As far as they are concerned Bolasie goes nowhere.
