Leeds boss gives Giuseppe Bellusci injury update and has high praise for Mirco Antenucci

Neil Redfearn has confirmed Giuseppe Bellusci could return for Fulham game while he has waxed lyrical about Mirco Antenucci.

This weekend Leeds United take on Fulham in the Championship, as The Cottagers travel to Elland Road for the first time in a decade.

For Neil Redfearn's men it is a chance to get back on the horse after a bit of a stumble at Ipswich Town last weekend, where they were thrashed 4-1 by The Tractor Boys.

But their recent home record has been excellent. Wins against Derby County and Blackpool in their last two games in Yorkshire will give them confidence heading into the tie with Fulham, reeling from a smashing at the hands of Watford last Friday.

Today has seen Redfearn take his weekly news conference ahead of the game - with plenty of hot topics surrounding the upcoming fixture.

Of course one of which was Ross McCormack. Sold for £11 million in the summer by Leeds to Fulham, the Scot is starting to find his feet in London. He had praise for the player, but insisted his defenders would be switched on ahead of the meeting:

He also had some injury news regarding Giuseppe Bellusci. The Italian has not featured since the Derby victory because of a hamstring train but Redfearn believes there is a possibility he could feature in the tie this weekend:

One of the big bonuses for Leeds recently has been the form of striker Mirco Antenucci. The Italian has scored four goals in his last four appearances and Redfearn believes he is one of the best finishers in the league right now:

Leeds fans will hope Antenucci can show some of that top finishing against Fulham this weekend.
