1) Arsenal enquire after Cerci
Arsenal have lodged an enquiry after Atletico Madrid winger Alessio Cerci, reports Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio. The winger left Torino to sign with the La Liga champions for €16 million. Arsenal were linked in the summer, and his time in Spain has been surprisingly underwhelming. The 27-year-old has made no starts and just seven appearances from the bench. Di Marzio report Arsenal have contacted Atletico who are so far unsure what they want to do with him, and Inter Milan are also interested.
2) Tottenham eye double signing
The Mirror report Tottenham are eyeing a double January swoop for midfielders Morgan Schneiderlin of Southampton and Fabian Delph of Aston Villa. While Southampton are not going to welcome interest, the paper write that Spurs are hopeful the midfielder will force a move. He admitted he was unhappy in the summer, but Arsenal's keenness on the Frenchman could also cause a complication. Delph's Villa contract expires at the end of the season, and Villa will be faced with a decision whether or not to cash in.
3) Raheem Sterling unconvinced on new deal
Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling is yet to be convinced his long-term future lies at the club. The Mail report he wants to play Champions League football next season, and is deliberating a £70,000 per week offer. Liverpool sit in ninth position in the Premier League, and Real Madrid are reported to hold a long-term interest in the England international. He is currently earning £25,000 per week.
4) Chelsea interested in AFC Wimbledon talent
Chelsea are keen on signing AFC Wimbledon prospect Daniel Agyei, report The Mirror. The striker has been prolific at under-21 level, scoring 22 goals, and is only 17-years-old. Fulham are also interested in the young forward, who is n the fringes of the first team for the League Two side, who take on Liverpool in the FA Cup in January.
