A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has hinted he may rest some players for the Europa League game against Besiktas tomorrow.

Spurs are in a good position in the group as they get ready to take on the Turkish team.

“Maybe I will rest some players. We have a lot of games ahead in the league and in the Capital One Cup, too. We need to manage the players and we have many injury problems,” said the boss.

Experienced goalkeeper Brad Friedel is set to join Fox Sports as an analyst next year.

The American shot stopper is one of the most experienced players at White Hart Lane and this could be a sign that he’s about to call time on his playing career.

Spurs have been handed a boost ahead of the next North London derby in February.

Arsenal star Jack Wilshere is unlikely to feature after confirmation that he needs ankle surgery.

Spurs fought well for a 1-1 draw in the Premier League game at the Emirates earlier this season.
