A young man from Afghanistan bears a striking resemblance to the late martial artist Bruce Lee.

Abbas Alizada is a 20-year-old from Kabul in Afghanistan, and he looks remarkably like the martial artist and actor Bruce Lee.

Reuters/Japan Times reports that photos and videos of Alizada, demonstrating his likeness to Bruce Lee, are posted over on a 'Bruce Hazara' Facebook page.

Alizada is from a poor family of 10 children, and when his parents couldn't afford to send him to a Wushu academy, the trainer took him under his wing anyway.

Most news coverage we hear coming from Afghanistan is predominantly regarding war. But, Alizada said: "The only news that comes from Afghanistan is about war. . . . I am happy that my story is a positive one.

"The destruction here makes me sad, but it also inspires me," and "I want to be a champion in my country and a Hollywood star."

The photos below will show you just how much of a resemblance he has to the late Bruce Lee.

Now that you've taken a look at some of the images, you should at least be nodding a little in recognition of his likeness to the great martial artist. But wait, there's more.

Not only does Alizada look like Lee, he has some slick skills of his own too - especially with the Nunchaku. Take a look at the video below.
