Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Croatian defender Sime Vrsaljko.
At first glance the rumours seem unlikely, given the fact that Kyle Walker has recently returned from injury and summer signing DeAndre Yedlin is tipped to move to White Hart Lane in January. But Vrsaljko’s versatility could prove an enticing prospect for Mauricio Pochettino.
Predominantly a right-back, the Croatian can also operate on the opposite flank and as a right-sided midfielder if required. He is highly-regarded in his homeland and Tottenham have reportedly sent scouts to watch the player in recent times.
Vrsaljko is said to be interesting Juventus and with a reported price-tag of just £3million there will be no shortage of suitors if he does move on.
